Miguel Angel Aponte

Miguel Angel Aponte, age 53 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Miguel was born December 8, 1965 in San Juan, Puerto Rico; the beloved son of the late Miguel Aponte & Maria Delcarmen Roman. Miguel was a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother, and friend to many. He was incredibly kind, selfless, and known for putting for others before himself. Miguel loved to socialize and was friendly with all of his neighbors. Besides spending time with family, Miguel was happiest while playing video games on his PlayStation 4. He will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. Miguel was survived by his: wife, Maria Gonzalez; two daughters, Marimar Aponte & Xiomara Aponte; step-daughter, Lydia Santana; two brothers, Juan Ceda & Wilfredo Aponte; one grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends to cherish his memory.
