Michael Paul Harrigan

Michael Paul Harrigan of Bridgeport, Connecticut entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the age of 42. Michael, known by most of his friends as "Mikey or Ikey" was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on March 1, 1979. He grew up on the South end of Bridgeport where he attended Roosevelt and Bassick schools. To many, Mikey was known as a shy fly guy because he was a man of very few words, but his impeccable presence never went unnoticed. To his close friends and family however, he was always full of jokes and laughter. Mikey took pride in being a family man and in raising his two sons. It is said that a son's first hero is their father, and Mikey did not fall short of that in the eyes of his boys. He was a loving son, father, husband, nephew, cousin, and friend that will be missed by all. He is survived by his mother Gloria Harrigan, wife Deborah Madrid-Harrigan, sons Michael and Mason Harrigan, mother-in law Marina Madrid, goddaughter Aviah Fleming, and a host of siblings: Louie Arbello Jr., William, Danny, Ethan, and Lynn Arbello, and Cindy Burgos, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his father, Louis Arbelo, brother Christopher Harrigan, and maternal grandparents Theresa and George Harrigan.
