Maximina Santos, age 82 of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Candido Norberto Santos, entered into peaceful rest Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at her home with her loving sons Victor and Dewell that took of her till her last breath. Maximina was kindhearted, she enjoyed having family gatherings, cooking her traditional specialties and having fun playing bingo and dominos. She embraced her family and friends and will be deeply missed. Born Wednesday June 8th 1932 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Maximina was the third of ten siblings of the late Vicente Reyes & Corsina Aviles. Besides parents and spouse Maximina is predeceased by: two brothers, Julio Reyes, Cecilo Reyes, three sisters, Vicenta Reyes, Laura Reyes, and Esther Cruz. Maximina is survived by: nine children from oldest to youngest, Carmen & son-in-law Gasper Reyes of CT., Candido Santos of PR, Alberto & daughter-in-law Deliris Santos of CT, Luz Maria & son-in-law Erving Ruiz of CT, Dewell Santos, Alfredo & daughter-in-law Marilet Santos of CT, Norma & son-in-law David Diagle of CT, Victor Santos of CT, Misael & daughter-in-law Linda Santos of CT, brother, Oscar Reyes of MA, sister, Emma Rivera of FL., Maria Reyes of CT., Paula Rodriguez of PR., twenty-seven grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish her memory.
