Mauro Quiroz

Mauro J. Quiroz, age 64, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024. Mauro was born in Peru, where he lived for 30 years before relocating to New York, where he was raised. For the past three years, he made his home in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Mauro was the beloved son of the late Amelia Terrones and Julio Quiroz. He was a devoted father to his two children, David Quiroz and Diego Quiroz, and a cherished brother to his three brothers and four sisters.

A hardworking and skilled jewelry fabricator, Mauro was admired for his strength, kindness, honesty, and sincerity. His dedication to his craft and family was unparalleled, leaving a lasting legacy in the hearts of those who knew him.

Mauro is survived by his spouse Tania E. Alvas Rojas De Quiroz: His two children, David Quiroz and Diego Quiroz: His 7 siblings, Elisa Quiroz, Justina Quiroz, Olegario Quiroz, Miguel Quiroz, Lucas Quiroz, Marilu Quiroz, Flor Quiroz and many friends and family that will cherish his memory forever.

Family and friends are invited to honor Mauro’s life at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave., Bridgeport, Connecticut, 06604. Services will begin from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on December 4, 2024. Interment will follow to Mountain Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06004.
