Mary Caroline Turner

Mary Caroline Turner, age 91 of Bridgeport, CT, entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2017 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Mary was born January 15, 1926 in Abbeville, South Carolina, the beloved daughter of the late Wiley Teasley & Sennie (Baskin) Teasley. Mary was one of 11 siblings. She was a very hardworking and independent woman. Mary had a passion for fishing and loved the color blue. Her strong will and caring nature will be remembered by those who had the honor of knowing her. Mary is predeceased by her Sisters; Mary Teasely Cooley, Mattie Mae Teasley Tillman, Louise (Amanda) Teasley, Brothers; Albert, Wiley, Thomas, George, Warren, Willie, and Mack Teasley Mary is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lynn Edwards, her grandson, Mark E. Bender Jr. and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory. There are no calling hours. Interment will be held privately.
