Mary Harvin Mary Harvin, age 73, entered into heavenly rest Friday, September 2nd, 2011 in Shands Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida with her loving family by her side. Mary was born August 6th, 1938 in Alcolu, SC. to the late Jimmy Hammett and surviving mother Robertha Harvin. Mary leaves to cherish her memory; five children, Malvola, Alonzo, Zephanie, Jude & Evangela Harvin; nine grandchildren, Michael, Tiron, David, Lachasa Harvin, Samantha, Jeremiah McNeil Stefon, Solomon & Dahlia Harvin and a host of great grandchildren and extended family. Mary was predeceased by her only sibling, Birtha Mae Walton. Friends may greet the family, Thursday, September 15th, 2011 from 11:00am to 12:00pm; funeral service will proceed from 12:00pm to 1:00pm in Mount Aery Church, 73 Frank Street, Bridgeport. Interment will follow to Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street. Arrangements are entrusted to Community Funeral Chapels located at 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
