Martin Miranda Jr. Martin Miranda Jr., age 68, entered into eternal rest, Thursday, February 26th, 2009. Coming from Santurce, Puerto Rico, a resident of Bridgeport for 56 years, Martin was an automotive mechanic until his retirement. Son of the late, Martin Miranda Sr., and surviving mother, Ramona. Survived by 11 siblings; Arminda Singh, Jose A. and wife, Eva, Juanita Falcon, Ana M. and husband, Eddie Cotto, Iris Teresa Miranda, Ricardo and wife, Ivette, Luis A. Miranda, Delia E. and husband, Simon Diaz, William and wife, Gloria, Miriam J. and Carmen R. Miranda. Martin resided with companion, Maria Figueroa. He is also survived by his 6 loving children; Martin III, Lucy, Yvette, Anthony, Michael, and Melvin; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2nd, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in Community Funeral Chapels. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. George Church, 443 Park Ave. BPT. Interment will proceed at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Ave, BPT. Friends may meet the family Sunday, March 1st, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave, BPT.
