Martha R. Jordan

Martha Roberta Jordan, 72 years of age, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Bridgeport Hospital. Martha was born December 30, 1946 in West Palm Beach, FL. to the late Prince Williams and late Idoma Hicks. Martha graduated from Central High School in Bridgeport, CT. Martha married Rob Willie Jordan. Martha professed her life to Christ at an early age. Martha worked with Sikorsky Aircraft for over 30 years. She also worked for Dental Supply for 9 years in York, PA; where she retired from. Martha enjoyed sponsoring casino trips. Martha also loved spending time with her family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. "To know her was to love her." Martha leaves to cherish her loving memory, 3 daughters; Carla Williams of West Palm Beach, FL., Priscilla Jordan of Bridgeport, CT., Shanta Jordan of Bridgeport, CT., 2 sons; Rob Willie Jordan Jr., and Wilburt Jordan, both of Bridgeport, CT., 5 sisters; Katie Lawrence (Gilbert Lawrence), Ophelia Williams, Cynthia Gross, Lottie Williams (Donnie Williams), and Linda Galloway, 2 brothers; Willie James Williams and Rufus Williams, 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends may greet the family on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 1:00pm-2:00pm.
