Marta Morales, age 84 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Marta was born January 30, 1936 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico; the beloved daughter of the late Ernesto Morales & Vicenta Maldonado. Marta was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Peter's Church. Marta was an excellent cook and loved preparing meals for her family. She was incredibly kind, and helpful. Marta enjoyed dominos, cards, and spending time with her loved ones. She will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing her. In addition to her parents, Marta was predeceased by her husband, Valentine Navarro, and brother, Enrique Morales. Marta is survived by her: son, Leonico Flores & daughter-in-law Carmen Flores; six siblings, Margarita Morales, Elena Morales, Ismael Morales, Dolores Morales, Antonia Morales, Cheo Morales; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
