Marie Nichole 'Niki' Pierce

Marie "Niki" Nichole Pierce, age 43 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Marie was born July 20, 1975 in Stamford, CT., the beloved daughter of the late Marie Pierce. Niki, as she was affectionately known, was a loving and dedicated mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was a very kind and honest woman. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and watching movies. Niki will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing her. Niki is survived by: companion of 25 years, Jorge Ortiz; son, Nico Jorge Oritz; sister, Lisa Shaffer; brother, Kenneth Shaffer; brother, Louis Shaffer; nephew, Anthony Malan; Niece, Tatiana Malan; niece, Gabriella Thomas; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
