Marie Therese Cazeau

Marie Therese Cazeau, age 79, of Trumbull, entered into heavenly rest Monday, April 28, 2014 at Canapevert Hospital Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Marie Therese Cazeau was the most loving, caring and a faithful servant of God. Born on August 18, 1934 to the late Thabeau Domond and Stephanie Demond in Jacmel, Haitie; she was the sixth of eight siblings. Throughout her childhood and as a young woman she worked very hard passionate about her country Haiti and Haitian people. She had her own soccer team in Jacmel. Mme. Cazeau loved to entertain her family and friends by her sense of humor and singing. She left a legacy of life to be cherished in memory by her family, friends and her community in the United States as well in Haiti. Therese Demond met her husband, Jean Loraus Cazeau, at a very young age, and from this union gave birth to six children; Marlene, Veta, Marie Florence, Belou, Gaiton, Layton. Unfortunately, two of them passed away. She raised her children and her stepson, Jacques Cazeau, according to God's will and the Christian way of life. Through her example, she led us to Christ and taught us what is meant to be a devoted servant of God. She was a member of The Woman's Missionary of "Eglise de la Nouvelle Jerusalem." Her favorite song was "Non Jamais tout Seul." Let us remember everything that our mother shared with us. And let us be happy that she has finally gone home to our Creator. Our mother is in heaven now. She was ready when God took her to be with him in his kingdom. Our Mother's love will always live in our hearts for as long as we live. Our Mother survived her five children; Marlene, Marie Florence, Belou, Layton, Jacques and one son-in-law Merone Lima and two daughters-in-law, Astride and Blonise. Seventeen grandchildren; Wolf-konkov, Julio-Marco, Yamuley, Jeffrey, Ricot, Jimson, Jason, Tahisha, Isabelle, Marvin, Larsen, Nikita, Bradley, Chloe, Daphney, Stanley, Darley, three great-grandchildren; Isabella-Veta, Stephanie and Shahen, and three sisters; Denise Domond, Jeanne Domond, Soeur Edwidge Domond, and a large group of family and friends. Mme Marie Therese Cazeau will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Rest in peace Magrande.
