Maribel "Mita" Rivera, age 45, of Bridgeport, entered into peaceful rest Saturday, June 30th, 2012 in Bridgeport with her loving family by her side. Mita attended Basick High School. She enjoyed spending time with her children and shopping. Maribel was a hard working single mother. She worked at O.E.M, Marshall, Bob's Clothing Store, and longtime employee of Super Stop & Shop in Westport and Fairfield. Maribel was also member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish Bridgeport, CT. Mita was born March 11, 1967, in Newark, New Jersey daughter of surviving mother Gladys Rodriguez. Mita is also survived by her two strong and brave children Jacob & Stephanie Reyes-Gavilian, maternal grandmother Margarita Rosado, five siblings Daisy Rodriguez, Ada Rodriguez, Jorge Rivera, Alex Rodriguez and Angelina Petitti, and a host of extended family, all of Bridgeport, CT.
