Marianne Gazza

Marianne Gazza, age 17 of Shelton, CT; passed into heavenly rest on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in her home.

Marianne Gazza was born on October 8, 2006, in Goiânia-Goiás, Brazil the beloved daughter of Nilmar Ribeiro & Paula Gazza. Marianne was affectionately called “Maricota” by her close family and friends. Marianne was sweet, intelligent, obedient, brilliant, and extremely loved by all who knew her.

At age 14 Marianne relocated to the United Staes for a bright future. During her free time, she loved to swim in the ocean and read. Marianne attended Shelton High School was on the swim team and worked at Thai Mi Noodle.

Marianne was predeceased by her paternal grandmother Maria Do Carmo Ribeiro.

Marianne was survived by her father Nilmar Riberio, her mother Paula Gazza and her sister Yasmin Gazza. A host of friends and family will continue to honor and cherish Marianne’s memory.

The early passing of Marianne left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of our family, friends, and community. While her remarkable contributions to school and sports are undeniable, it is the enduring memory of her spirit, kindness, and sweetness that we will forever cherish. Her absence will be felt deeply by her family, friends, and anyone who had the opportunity to know Marianne’s kind soul. In the hearts of those who knew and loved her, Marianne's essence will endure, living on within our hearts forever, Marianne Gazza.
