Maria Milagro Valentin

Maria M. Valentin formerly known as Maria M. Castro,beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on March 20, 2023 at the young age of 68. Maria was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 15, 1955. She was born to the late Esther Vega and late William Castro. She was raised with 4 siblings,her brother Robert, and 3 sister; Diana, Angela, and Miriam. She later married Felipe and had two children that she leaves behind Maria and Annette along with her 7 grandchildren, Anthony, Marcus, Nicolas, Alie, Chasity, Christopher and Victoria. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews that she loved so much.Maria worked as a social worker for the last 20 years where she helped her community with food and shelter. She lived the last 17 years in California where she met so many people that loved her and treated her like family when hers was so far away. We personally want to say thank you to every person who has been a part of Maria Valentin's life. Although the last few years have been hard on her, we're glad she was back home with her family during her final days.
