Maria Teresa Davila

Maria Teresa Davila, age 81, passed away peacefully on the 27th of December, 2022, at Bridgeport Hospital. Affectionately known as "Tere", "Teresa", and "Titi", Maria was born on September 19, 1941 to her loving parents Miguel Angel Davila and Juana Davila Colon Reyes in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. She was one of seven children; she and her siblings were raised in Puerto Rico. Maria lived in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Bridgeport, where she lived happily till her passing. Maria was a woman who wore many hats, but she was a caregiver through and through. In her life, she was a home health aide, a civil servant, an avid reader, a devout Christian, and a proud mother and grandmother. She made a comfortable, joyful home for her three sons: Jose, Rafael, and Daniel. Maria is predeceased by her parents, Miguel and Juana, and her siblings: Esther, Emma, Jennie, Angel Manuel, Miguel David, and Angel Luis. She is survived by her sons, Jose Davila, Rafael Davila, and Daniel Davila; her grandchildren Camilla Davila, Jose Davila, Jr., Shayla Davila, Desiree Lotto, Samantha Davila, Delilah Ivette Davila, Lydia Maria Davila, Felicia Davila, Daniel Marcos Vasquez, Daniel Davila, Jr., China Denay Davila, and Alani Real Davila; and her great-grandchildren Kayden Silveira, Eliana Ayalla, Lilly Ayalla, and Nevaeha Cooke.
