Maria Martha Lucila Cuahuizo Carrillo

Maria Martha Lucila Cuahuizo, 52, passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital on January 6, 2025. She was a loving wife to Isander Carrillo Gonzalez and a devoted mother to Jasmen Carrillo and Juan Antonio Carrillo.

Born in Puebla, Mexico, Maria was the cherished daughter of Juan Cuahuizo Carrillo and Maria Placida Cuahuizo Moyolt. She grew up with her seven siblings, Lauro Cuahuizo, Sergio Cuahuizo, Adrian Cuahuizo, Santos Cuahuizo, Ismael Cuahuizo, Gonzalo Cuahuizo, Catalina Cuahuizo who were always close to her heart.

Maria was known for her vibrant, social nature and her deep love for others. She dedicated much of her life to helping those around her, always eager to lend a hand. As a wife, mother, and friend, she exemplified selflessness, compassion, and unwavering support. She was a devout Catholic who found great joy in her faith and in spending time with her beloved family.

Her warmth and kindness touched many lives, and she was deeply loved by all who knew her. Maria’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love and service to others will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral services will be held on January 9, 2025 from 6:00PM-10:00PM at Community Funeral Chapels 798 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604 and Friday January 10, 2025 from 11:00AM-12:00PM at St. Peter’s Church 695 Colorado Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06605.
