Maria De Los Angeles Cintrn, age 73 of Bridgeport, CT, devoted wife of the late Manuel Cintron, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on April 10, 2023 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Maria Was born May 26, 1949 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, to her loving parents Pedro Torres Garcia and Miguelina "Gladys" Ortiz. She and her four siblings were raised in Santurce and Bayamon. Affectionately known as "Mery", she and her husband Manuel were married for 34 years and were loving parents to their three children: Manuel, Jr., Syndia, and Karen Cintron. Maria was known to make wonderful cakes for her friends and family to celebrate all occasions. She was a mother to many, not just her own children. She was a foster grandmother and a teaching assistant and Cesar A. Batalla School. Maria was a woman of deep faith, and was a devoted, wife, mother, daughter, aunt, and friend to all she met. Maria is predeceased by her parents, Pedro Torres Garcia and Miguelina Ortiz, and her husband, Manuel Cintron. She is survived by her children: Manuel Cintron, Jr., Syndia W. Cintron, and Karen Cintron; her grandchildren: Hector M. Diaz, David N. Diaz, Syndia M. Zapete, Joshua E. Cintron, Nerika A. Corales, Kiara D. Corales, Jos Cintron, Jaden Cintron, and Jaqueline G. Cintron and her four great-grandchildren. Friends may greet the family on Thursday, April 20th from 6:00pm-7:00pm.
