Maria Adelma Ayala Maria Adelma Ayala of Fairfield, age 91, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family on Friday, August 27th, 2010, at the Southport Health Center. Born in Bolivar, Colombia on April 20th, 1919, the daughter to the late Pedro and Emilia Alvarez, Maria Adelma was predeceased by her loving husband of more than 50 years, Ramiro Ayala. Survivors include her loving daughters and sons, Emperatriz Ayala of Fairfield with whom she lived, Ramiro and his wife Migdalia Ayala of Bridgeport, Esperanza and her husband Emilio Rodas of Stratford, Rosa Emilia and husband Hernan Gonzalez of Colombia, Rommel and his wife Aceneth Ayala of Colombia, James and his wife Norha Ayala of Colombia, Alirio and his wife Graciela Ayala of Colombia. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren who loved her and will miss her greatly. A memorial service in honor of Maria Ayala will be held Saturday, September 4th, 2010, at St. Charles Church, 1279 East Main Street at 9:00 am.
