Maria Virgen Acevedo

Maria Virgen Acevedo age 71, of New Haven, entered into peaceful rest Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her home with her loving husband of 39 years by her side. Prior to making any decision Maria always considered how her family could be a part of what she was doing. She loved cooking for her family, watching TV and spending time with her grandchildren. Maria was a great mother. She was always willing to help anyone in need. Maria Acevedo was born on Monday, January 12, 1944 to Lazarro Agosto and Ernesta Garcia in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico. Maria joins in Heaven pre-deceased father, Lazarro Agosto and brother, Juan Agosto. Maria is survived by: mother, Ernesta Agosto; husband, Rafael Acevedo; three sons, Daniel Acevedo, Alexy Acevedo, and Miguel Acevedo; brother, Juan Antonio Agosto, two sisters, Elena Arroyo, and Rosie Agosto; four grandchildren: Daniel Acevedo Jr., Natasha Acevedo, Gabriel Acevedo, Joshua Acevedo and great grand-child, Christian Alexander Ramirez, along with a host of extended family and friends that will cherish her memory.
