Margarita Gutierrez

Margarita Gutierrez, age 96 of Bridgeport, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 18, 2017 in her home, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Margarita was born January 15, 1921 in Cali, Colombia. She was known for her strong personality. Although often reserved and stern, Margarita was incredibly compassionate when it came to caring for the younger children in her family. She loved her sweets and enjoyed being with her dogs. She will be missed deeply. Margarita is survived by: son, Mario Gutierrez; grandchildren, Ricardo, Alexandra, Liliana; great-grandchildren, Daniela, Sergio, John Henry, Jennifer Dayana, Samuel; great-great grandchild, Samuel; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
