Marcia Anita Stewart, born June 6, 1961 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2014. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, beloved sister and daughter, aunt and friend. Marcia migrated to the United States in 1978 and attended Norwalk High School. After graduation she attended school to become a travel agent. Marcia also worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant. Marcia was warmhearted, compassionate strong and remarkably brave. She liked reading, listening to Bob Marley, and playing card games. Socializing and spending time with her family and friends was what made her most happy. She had a wonderful sense of humor. No matter what situations she faced, she would always manage to make you laugh. She truly had the ability to see beyond her circumstances. At the same time, she was straightforward and real. She is survived by her two sons Darrian Bryan and Michael Stewart and daughter, Melissa Joseph. Marcia is also survived by her father, Fredrick Stewart and step mother Ethel Stewart; brother, Juna Stewart; sister, Beverly Stewart; sister, Rose Stewart; brother, Mark Stewart; brother, Dennis Stewart; brother David Panton; sister Sonia Gallimore; sister, Francine Hamilton; step sister, Mernel Thompson; step sister Audrey Brown; step brother Noel Brown; step sister, Claudette Brown; step sister, Juliette Sealy; step sister, Paulette Brown; step brother, David Brown; step sister, Jusette Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. She is pre deceased by her mother Millicent Dixon, brother, Everton Gallimore; older sister, Leona Smart and step sister, Arlene. Marcia will be sorely missed. Friends and relatives are invited to the Home Going Celebration of Marcia's Life on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Community Funeral Chapels 798 Park Avenue Bridgeport, with a viewing from 9:00am to 10:00am and a service from 10:00am to 11:00am.
