Maedella Williams

Maedella Williams, affectionately known as Mae Mae, age 78, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, in Glastonbury, Connecticut. She was born on June 18, 1946, in Waynesboro, Georgia, to her loving parents,the late Elizabeth Godbee and Sidney Godbee. Maedella had one brother, George Godbee, with whom she shared a close bond.

Maedella was raised in Waynesboro, Georgia, where her roots were deeply planted. In the 1970s, she relocated to Glastonbury, Connecticut, where she built a life with her husband, the late Frank Robinson Williams. Known for her outspoken, loving, caring, and giving nature, Maedella touched the lives of everyone she met. She cherished spending time with family and friends, attending Kingdom Hall, and watching her favorite court shows.

Maedella was the proud mother of three children: Anthony Williams, Danita Williams, and Terrence Williams, who predeceased her. Despite this profound loss, she found joy and solace in her grandchildren, who survive her and continue to carry forward her legacy of love and resilience.

Maedella will be remembered for her unwavering love, generosity, and her vibrant personality that brought light to everyone around her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
