It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Luis Antonio DelValle, affectionately known as Tony, at the age of 38, on January 13, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Tony was born on September 10, 1986, at Bridgeport Hospital and was raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, before later relocating to Southington.


Tony was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), where he worked as a splicer. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and loyalty to his craft. Outside of work, Tony lived life to the fullest, with a boldness and joy that were evident to all who knew him. Whether enjoying a game of video games, hosting backyard bonfires, or cracking jokes, Tony’s infectious laughter and vibrant spirit brought warmth to everyone around him. His love for cars, motorcycles, and time spent with family and friends were central to who he was.


Tony is survived by his beloved daughter, Aliana Marisol DelValle, his father Carmelo DelValle Jr. and mother Lillian Melendez, his stepfather Jimmy Melendez, his four sisters Elisa (Omar Carrion), Teresa (Henry Martinez), Christina (Freddy Diaz), and Lillian (Chris Elwood), his brother Christian Perez, and his fiancée Teresa. He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Julian and Maralise, his cherished grandparents Ramona and Sergio Nunez, Faustino Tosado, and Lucy and Margaro Robles, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.


Tony was predeceased by his aunt Marisol Robles and his grandfather Carmelo DelValle Oquendo. His legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Tony. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
