Luis Yandel 'Yandi' Colon

Luis Yandel Colon "Yandi" age 14 of Bridgeport, tragically died on Thursday, December 24th 2015 in cross fire on State Street. Luis Colon was a humble and kind freshman. He recently was acknowledged as a Student Who ROARS (Respectful, On task, Accountable, Responsible) an achievement program of Harding High School. His sweet and tender smile will be deeply missed. Luis Yandel Colon was born Thursday, July 4th 2001 in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, the beloved son of Solmarie Rivera and Hector Luis Colon. Yandi was the youngest of three. Besides his parents Luis is survived his two brothers, Brian Rivera, Hector Gabriel Colon and a host of extended family and friends.
