Lucy Minerva Figueroa

Lucy Minerva Figueroa, age 66 of Bridgeport, entered into peaceful rest, Saturday February 9, 2013 at St. Joseph's Manor Trumbull. At age 3 Lucy moved to Brooklyn, NY where she met the love of her life, her husband, Ramon Santiago. Lucy lived in and raised her family in Brooklyn until she moved to Bridgeport five years ago. A devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother, Lucy enjoyed life whether she was cooking, sewing, singing or simply going out for a walk. She devoted herself to the Lord and was a cherished member of the Christian Church of Compassion the New Generation in Bridgeport. Lucy was born November 20, 1946 in San Juan, Puerto Rico the loving daughter of Ramon and Antonia Figueroa. Lucy is survived by her beloved husband and companion of 46 years, Ramon Santiago, and her loving sons, Ramon Jr. and Edward Rios. She also leaves behind an adored grandson, Christian.
