Lucinda Colan

Lucinda Colan, age 79, of Unionville, CT entered into heavenly rest Sunday, November 30th, 2014 at Smilow Cancer Hospital, New Haven. Lucinda was a very friendly, loving and caring person. She enjoyed helping raise her grandchildren. She was known for being a humble person, and would always help others before helping herself. Lucinda was born on Sunday, August 25th, 1935 in Huaral, Peru to the Late Esteban Becerra and the Late Juana Sanchez Becerra. Lucinda joins in heaven her son Jorge L. Colan. She is survived by her devoted husband Luis H. Colan of 58 years, her children; Pedro N. Colan and his wife Silvia Colan and Elizabeth Correa and her husband Ruben Correa, siblings; Rosalina Chaves, Herlinda Becerra, Luz Santillan, Luis A. Becerra, Jorge Becerra, Juan Becerra, and Jose Becerra; grandchildren, Johnathan Correa, Stephanie Correa, Christian Correa, Christina Colan, and Victoria Colan. Lucinda also leaves to cherish her memories to a host of extended family and friends. Lucinda will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
