Lourdes Degro Lourdes "Tutty" Degro, age 44, entered into eternal rest, Monday, January 5th, 2009, in St. John's Interfaith Hospital Brooklyn, NY. Lourdes currently resided in Brooklyn, with supportive boyfriend Thomas Torres. Born in Manhattan, NY. to surviving mother, Beny Garcia and the late Rafael Degro. Survived by her sons, Benjamin Jr. & Frankie R. Coss and grandchildren Frankie Jr. & Giana Marie Coss. Tutty was a sister to survivors; Edna Garcia, Melvin Garcia, Maria Zayas, Olga Serrano, Efrain, Rafael, and Elba Degro. Pre-deceased by siblings Carmen Colon, Luz Degro, and Ricardo Degro. Tutty was joyful and will be missed by many. Funeral services will be held Friday January 9th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Community Funeral Chapels. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Lukes St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 594 Kossuth ST. BPT. Interment will proceed at Park Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Thursday, January 8th, 2009, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Community Funeral Chapels.
