Lidia Altagracia Rodriguez-Nuez, age 81 of Waterbury, CT, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Lidia was born January 6, 1936, in Boca De Bao, Santiago, Dominican Republic, the beloved daughter of the late Onorio Rodriguez & Aminta Nunez. Lidia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a devote member of Ministerio Jesucisto Rey de Reyes. Lidia adored the color pink and enjoyed playing dominoes. She will be remembered most for her strength. Lidia is survived by her seven children, Riena & Miguel Valentine of Waterbury; Riena & Jorge Sabrina of Waterbury; Margarita Rodriguez of Bridgeport; Marco Rodriguez of Santiago, DR; Juana Rodriguez of Waterbury; Zoila & Franklin Susana of Stanford; Isaia Peralta of Santiago, DR.; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
