Lester Donnel 'Les' Arrington

Lester Donnell Arrington, age 57, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Lester was born April 19, 1963 in Bridgeport, CT, the third of four children. He was the beloved son of Harvey and Barbara (Young) Arrington. He was a devoted and caring father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Lester worked as a security guard for the Bridgeport Board of Education for many years. Lester had an amazing sense of humor. He loved to go fishing, playing basketball, cooking and grilling for family cookouts and most of all, mentoring the youth in the community and giving advice. Lester fought hard through his illness and he was strong and confident. He was one-of-a-kind; everyone who met him loved him and he left an unforgettable impact on the lives he touched. He will be missed deeply. Lester was predeceased by his father, Harvey Arrington, Sr.. He is survived by his daughters, Christine (Tina), Leslie (Lez), Denise, Crystal, Olivia and Irene Arrington and Shana Webb all of Bridgeport; his sons, Tony and Tommy Voyak and Lester Arrington, Jr.; sisters, Desiree, Nadine, Mariah, Malaisia and Marlesha; brothers, Harvey, Jr., Mikshon and Mahiem Arrington of Bridgeport; fifteen grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will cherish his memory.
