Leroy 'Roy' Davis

Leroy Davis, age 60, of Bridgeport, entered into heavenly rest on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Saint Vincent's Medical Center. Leroy loved life, he was an honest, loving and generous person to all around him. Enjoyed listening to his classical soul music, family reunions and loved food. Leroy was born April 24, 1954 in Manhattan, New York, to the late Mathews Davis Sr. and Mary Reese. Leroy is survived by his stepmother Lottie Roberts. Leroy is survived by his lifelong friend Geneese Edwards, his daughters; Rashell Davis, Shaneesha Davis and Shawna Edwards. Leroy is also survived by his siblings; Delma Young (Joseph), Mathews Davis Jr., Diane Woodly (Daniel), Clarence Shelton, Kathy Carr, John Davis, Sharon Watson, Carvin Barnette, and Latanya Roberts. Leroy also leaves to cherish his memories to his grandchildren; Jasmine Moye, Janisha Davis, Janaya Moye, Jenice Moye, Tynesha Heard, Destiny Davis and great grandson, Antonio Small. Leroy will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends. Friends may greet the family Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM.
