Leonor Padilla Diaz, Age 87 has passed into heavenly rest on June 19, 2023, in her hometown Bridgeport, CT. Leonor was born into a loving home to her parents Encarnacion Diaz Boria and Julio Padilla in Dorado, PR on July 1, 1935 where she was raised with her two siblings, her sister Nicolasa Padilla Diaz and her brother Ruben Padilla Diaz.
Leonor Padilla Diaz was a loving mother of 6 children – Maria Caridad Casanova Padilla, Madeline Casanova Padilla, Edwin Casanova Padilla, Javier E. Nevarez Padilla, Jose Fernando Nevarez Padilla, Orlando Casanova Padilla.
At the age of 50 then relocated to Bridgeport to be closer to her immediate family.
One of Leonor’s favorite things to do was playing Dominoes with her family and in her spare time she would read her bible.
Leonor is predeceased by her son Orlando Casanova Padilla, her mother Encarnacion Diaz Boria, her father Julio Padilla, her sister Nicolasa Padilla Diaz, and her brother Ruben Padilla Diaz
Leonor is Survived by her 5 kids; Caridad Casanova Padilla; Madeline Casanova Padilla; Edwin Casanova Padilla; Javier E. Nevarez Padilla; Jose Fernando Nevarez Padilla; and much more family that will cherish her memory eternally.
