Lance Bernard Parker

Lance Bernard Parker, age 52, of Bridgeport, CT; the companion of Edna Malav of 23 years, passed into peaceful rest Monday, November 21, 2022 in Brooklyn, New York. Lance was welcomed into the world by Orville Kingsley Parker Sr. & Sylvia Parker on November 23, 1969 in Brooklyn, New York; Lance was one of six. He was raised in Brooklyn as well as Bridgeport. He grew up on Balsam Ave. and attended Bridgeport public schools including Central High School, the school known for sharply dressed students. Lance enjoyed fashion; he always knew how to put together outfits to look his very best. Lance's world changed once he became a father, he took great pride in caring for his daughter Liana. Lance was kind hearted and was known to be the favorite uncle of his nephew Sergio. Lance enjoyed socializing; he had many friends in his time on earth. Lance will be missed but not forgotten. Lance is now reunited with his mother Sylvia Parker. Lance is survived by: father, Orville Kingsley Parker Sr; companion, Edna Malav; daughter, Liana Parker; siblings, Orville Kingsley Parker Jr. (Sonny), Patrick Parker, John Parker, Angela Parker; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish his memory.
