Juan Antonio Rosa

Juan Antonio Rosa, age 59 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a long battle with cancer. Juan was born September 19, 1958 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, the beloved son of the late Jose Gregorio Rosa & Maria Monserrate Rivera. Juan was a loving and dedicated father and grandfather. He was very creative and enjoyed whittling wood into figurines; he was especially talented at making horses. Juan was always a happy man and loved making others happy as well. He had an amazing sense of humor and found joy in helping others. Juan and his granddaughter, Lillian, passed away just minutes apart. They will both be missed deeply. Juan is survived by : his girlfriend, Rosa Morales; son, Juan Rosa; daughter, Leticia Rosa; brother, Abimalex Rosa; three sisters, Maria M. Rosa-Rivera, Elvia Rosa, Brenda Rosa; step-brother, Eddie Romn; granddaughter, Leritbel; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory. Interment will be held privately.
