Josephine was called to her eternal resting place on April 30th 2020. She was born in Clarendon, Jamaica to Janie Hines & Reginald Ford on February 9th 1928. Josephine Isadora migrated to the United States in 1965. She was a domestic worker for many many years. She was an extremely loving, gentile, & caring soul and everyone felt the same way about her. She found great joy in attending family functions and cooking for her loved ones. Her favorite quote was " You ole bum" and "Pour your own troubles" you gotta love that lady. She celebrated life by being around her huge family. Josephine is survived by her 6 children. Locksley Raffington, Trevor King, Lena Boothe, Dudley Boothe, Marcia Boothe, and Lurina Cousins, 30 Grandchildren, 38 Great grandchildren, 1 Great great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may greet the family Tuesday, May 5, 2020 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. A celebration of Josephine's life will proceed from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Community Funeral Chapels 798 Park Ave. Bridgeport, CT. 06604 Tel: 203-334-9999. Interment will be held privately.
