Joseph “Joe” Dicks Jr., age 65, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully at his residence on June 19, 2026.

Joe was born on July 12, 1960, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to the late Joseph Dicks Sr. and Grace Dicks. Raised in Bridgeport, Joe was known for his fun-loving personality, kind heart, and ability to bring joy to those around him. He enjoyed playing the drums, cooking meals for family and friends, and spending time watching sports. Joe was employed for many years at Calzone Case Co..

Joe was predeceased by his parents and by his ex-wife, Durla Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Cachet Dicks Brown, Grace Sullivan, Joseph Dicks III, and William Major Sullivan; his sisters, Cathy Dicks, Angela Winstead (husband Ronald); his brother, Robert Dicks; eight cherished grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Joe's warmth, laughter, and loving spirit touched many lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
