Joseph Claude ''Little Joe'' Williams

Joseph Claude WIlliams "Little Joe" Joseph Claude Williams "Little Joe", age 84, of Bridgeport, entered into peaceful rest, Monday, October 17th, 2011 in VA Hospital with his loving family by his side. Joseph was born November 29th, 1926 in Norwalk, CT to the late Carrie Moore and Henry Williams and was the youngest of eight siblings. Joseph attended East End Baptist Church and was an active member of local clubs including the V.F.W, American Legion and Masons. He was also an advocate for the East End Community and a local sheriff. Joseph leaves to cherish his memories six children, Henry, Richard, Irene and James Williams, Diane Fisher, Eula Swann, son-in-law Thomas Fisher and daughter-in-law Yvonne Williams, a sister Anna Louise Johnson of West Haven, twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by three children Joseph Jr., Louis and Kevin Williams. He will always be cherished and deeply missed. Friends may greet the family, Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 from 10:00am to 12:00pm in Community Funeral Chapels located at 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
