Joselyn Velez-Carrion, age 44 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Queens, New York. Joselyn was born January 20, 1976 in Ponce, Puerto Rico; the beloved daughter of Jose Antonio Velez & Blanca Iris Carrion. Joselyn was a loving and dedicated mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She had a huge heart and cared deeply for others. Joselyn was outgoing, fun, and had her own unique personality. She loved to sing, read the bible, and care for her dog, Snoopy, who she treated like a son. Joselyn will be remembered most for her love for her family. In addition to her parents, Joselyn is survived by her: son, Jonathan Lopez & daughter-in-law Kiana; son, Josue Lopez; sister, Maria Velez; sister, Maritza Velez; brother, Jose Velez; four grandchildren, Janiah Lopez, Nova Lopez, Luna Lopez, Mason Lopez; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
