Josefina Chefy Gonzalez

Josefina Chefy Gonzalez, age 75, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 16, 2017, at Golden Hill Rehab, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Josefina was born March 19, 1942, in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, the beloved daughter of the late Domingo Padilla and Maria David. She was a loving mother of three, who always put her family first. Josefina enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, sewing, and bird watching. Her warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all. Josefina is survived by three children; Migdalia (James) Peace, Luz Gonzalez, Jose (Claire) Gonzalez Jr.; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
