Jose Maria 'Nono' Valencia Jr.

Jose Maria Valencia, age 27 of Bridgeport, CT, passed into heavenly rest on May 3, 2023 in Bridgeport. Jose was born on August 21, 1996 to his loving parents, Jose Valencia and Maria Garcia. He, his sisters Karizma Garcia and Thalia Valencia, and their three younger siblings were raised in Bridgeport in a home full of love and laughter. Jose was a loving father and worked hard to provide for his children Keilanie and London. Affectionately known as "NoNo", Jose worked at GreenKnolls Landscaping in Monroe, CT. He was an avid gamer and an artist, but his favorite pastimes were paintballing and spending time with his kids and family. He loved listening to new music and always kept his sneakers in pristine condition. His love of the outdoors and gardening showed how much he cared for everyone around him. Jose is predeceased by his grandmother, Julia Benitez, and his aunt, Diana Valencia He is survived by his mother, Maria Garcia of Bridgeport, CT; his father Jose Valencia of Florida; his children, Keilanie Valencia and London Valencia of Bridgeport, CT; his loving girlfriend Corieina Wells of Bridgeport, CT; his sisters: Karizma Garcia and Thalia Valencia of Bridgeport, CT; his three younger siblings in Florida; and his grandmother, Antonia Salyado of Puerto Rico.
