Jose Antonio Sandoz

Jose Antonio Sandoz, age 70 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Jose was born July 3, 1949 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico; the beloved son of Pablo Sandoz & the late Francesca DeJesus. Jose was a loving and dedicated son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Jose loved to fish and go on adventures. He truly lived life to the fullest. Along with his mother, Jose was predeceased by his daughter, Maria Ortiz; and two brothers, Ruben Sandoz & Pablo Sandoz. In addition to his father, Jose is survived by his: five children, Francesca Ortiz; Jose Jr. Ortiz; Zoe Sandoz; Divon A. Sandoz; Shalim Camacho; long-time companion Lourdes Cruz; former spouse Nilsa Camacho; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
