Jose Antonio Mateo

Jose Antonio Mateo, age 48, of Bridgeport, entered into peaceful rest Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. In Jose's early years he was an energetic football player for Bassick High School. Later he moved to Holo, MA for thirteen years and was a good hearted CNA. Jose then returned to Connecticut, he enjoyed the Yankees, nature walks and most of all family picnics. Jose was born November 11th, 1963 in Bridgeport, the son of the late Anselmo & Dolores Mateo. Jose was the seventh of nine siblings. Jose is survived by: son Jose Antonio Mateo Jr. & daughter-in-law Tatiana Mateo, six brothers Ramon, George, Raphael, Jose Cruz, twin Victor Mateo, Carlos & sister - in-law Rosie Mateo, two sisters Neida Cruz, Maria Mateo, one granddaughter Tiana Mateo, and a host of extended family and friends.
