Jorge Luis Cedeo Jr.

October 28, 1968 — April 13, 2020

Jorge Luis Cedeo Jr. age 51, of Bridgeport, the spouse of Luz M. Cedeo, entered into peaceful rest Monday, April 13, 2020 at Midstate Medical Center Meriden, CT. Jorge, nicknamed Junior, was born on October 28, 1968 in Bridgeport, CT, the only beloved son of Ana E. Cedeo & the late Jorge L. Cedeo Sr. Jorge was always a big kid at heart. He enjoyed the arcade, he loved to play video games, and was merciless in every game of Monopoly. He had a deep interest in fighter jets and bombers, naturally leading to him enlisting in the US Air Force directly after high school. His commitment to the Air Force was a large part of his identity and he was a proud veteran. In his past time, he enjoyed being outside, whether at the beach, the pool or the park and savored pizza. He found joy in working with his hands, often taking apart electronics just to rebuilding them from scratch. His love for his ‘toys' was always apparent through his many cars, motorcycles, his jet ski and his drone - though he managed to fly it into everything. He had a deep love for his children and would boast about each of them to anyone who was willing to listen. Although he had a short temper, he had a huge heart. Jorge was as honest and as genuine as they came, and often spoke his mind. The best part about him was, when you made friends with him, you had a friend for life. Jorge's recent marriage to Luz Maria (Dominguez) Cedeo was the highlight of his latter days. He adored Luz, and he cherished their moments together. They had dreams to relocate to Florida with their pet fish El Chapo. Due to his health and circumstances they stayed in Connecticut and embraced his mother, children and grandchildren. Jorge is survived by: mother, Ana Cedeo of Bridgeport; wife, Luz M. Cedeo of Meriden; son, Christian J. Harding & daughter-in-law Natalie Cavagnuolo of Ansonia; daughter, Mercedes & son-in-law Steven Petrino of Shelton, daughter, Thelma & son-in-law Jimmy Pham of Georgia; son Xavier Cedeo of Maryland; daughter, Alexa Cedeo. Also survived by Tamika & son-in-law Jovanne Ramos of North Carolina whom he loved as his own, and her children Ivanna and Nina; granddaughter's Mia, and Scarlett; a host of extended family and friends.
