John Rivera, age 59, of Bridgeport, the beloved spouse of Maria Rivera, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 5, 2015 in Rockland County New York. John was a devoted Christian, willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a handyman and hard working truck driver. His calm and easy going demeanor will be deeply missed by all that knew him. John was born June 21, 1956 in the Bronx, New York the son of the late Juan & Josefina Rivera. John is survived by: spouse, Maria Rivera; three sons, John Henry Rivera of Puerto Rico, John Luis Rivera of Bridgeport, Isaac Rivera of Rhode Island; daughter, Stephanie Rivera of Puerto Rico; nine siblings, Elsa Rivera, Hector Rivera, Luis Rivera, Walter Rivera, Luis A. Rivera, Renee Rivera, Carlos Rivera, Migdalia Quiones, Freddy Navarro; three grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish his memory.
