Jimmy S. Almodovar, age 39 of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 30, 2019 in Griffin Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Jimmy was born November 1, 1980 in Bridgeport, CT; the beloved son of Nydia Rodriguez & Hector Luis Baez-Rivera. Jimmy was a loving and dedicated father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He loved playing and watching many sports including basketball, baseball, and football. Jimmy also enjoyed playing video games in his free time. He will be remembered most for his kind heart and his love for his family. In addition to his parents, Jimmy is survived by his: son, William Emmanuel Figueroa; daughter, Catalina Almodovar; maternal grandmother, Luz Garcia; sister, Grissell Lopez; sister, Maria Rodriguez; aunt, Luz Flores; and a host of extended family and friends who will honor his memory.
