Jesusa Maldonado, age 81, of Bridgeport, entered into heavenly rest Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Bridgeport Manor. Jesusa was kindhearted, humble mother of five that put her family first. Jesusa was the oldest of three. She was born Tuesday, April 17, 1934 in Puerto Rico. Jesusa was predeceased by: parents, Mercedes Maldonado & Roberta Martinez and son, Edwin Vazquez. Jesusa is survived by: two daughters, Carmen Vazquez of NJ., Norma & son-in-law Erasmo Colon of BPT.; two sons, Ricardo Vazquez of Stamford, Evengelio Velazquez & sister-in-law Sarah Algarin of PR.; sister, Maria M. Maldonado; brother, Luis Maldonado; thirteen grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and extended family that will cherish her memory.
