Jesula Pierre

Jesula Pierre, age 82 of Fairfield, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 13, 2018 in her home, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Jesula was born December 15, 1935 in L'Asile, Haiti , the beloved daughter of the late Adma Pierre & Yrela Malivere. Jesula was a loving mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to taking care of her children. Jesula was an excellent cook and enjoyed sewing. She will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing her. Jesula is survived by her: Companion of over 60 years, Luckner Maignan; Children: son, Yves Maignan of Westport; daughter, Marie Maignan-Thompson of Fairfield; daughter, Marleine Maignan of Bridgeport; son, Abner Maignan of Stanford; Step-Children whom she raised since infancy: Florence Maignan & Finette Maignan; Grandchildren: Charles Moise, Christopher Moise, Lucas Lazarre, Abdyne Maignan, Kelly Maignan, Sade Maignan, Aisha Maignan, Jonathan Maignan, Tyler Maignan- Thompson, Ashlee Maignan - Thompson, Alex Maignan - Thompson, Ayana Maignan - Thompson, Nieces & Nephews: Monette Nazaire, Paulonne Maignan, Paulange Maignan, Junette Maignan, Salita Maignan, Elvine Saintus, Burel Maignan, Louinel Maignan, Essio Maignan; Caretakers: Marie Carmel Jules & Mickerline Brice; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
