Jeffrey Charles Johnson

Jeffrey Charles Johnson, 59, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away on April 3, 2026, in his hometown. 

Born on June 3, 1967, in Bridgeport, Jeffrey was raised in the community he proudly called home throughout his life. He was the beloved son of DeGlorious Johnson and the late Moses Johnson. 

Jeffrey was a dedicated and compassionate professional who served others through his work as a Surgical Technician at Bridgeport Hospital, an EMS Technician, and through his time as a volunteer in the medical field. His commitment to helping others reflected his caring and generous spirit. Known for his fun-loving personality, Jeffrey had a great sense of humor and never missed a chance to share a good joke. He brought laughter and warmth to those around him. In his free time, he enjoyed playing basketball, swimming, and dancing- activities that reflected his vibrant and energetic nature.

 Jeffrey was predeceased by his father, Moses Johnson; his brother, Marvin Johnson; and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, DeGlorious Johnson; his daughter, Jailyn Johnson; his siblings, Dennis A. Johnson, Tracy Johnson Jones (Jeff), and Willie E. Johnson; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
