Jason Jose 'Jay Rod' Rodriguez

Jason Jose Rodriguez, age 38 of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 29, 2019 in Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Jason was born April 20, 1981 in Bridgeport, CT., the beloved son of Efrain Rodriguez Sr. & Isabel D. DeLeon. Jason, better known as Jay Rod, was a loving and dedicated son, father, brother, and friend to many. He had a great sense of a humor and loved making others laugh. Jason was incredibly optimistic; he always had a positive outlook on life. He enjoyed working out, and spending time with his family; especially his son. Jason will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. He was predeceased by his sister, Linda Medina. In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his: son, Jason Julius Rodriguez, two brothers, Efrain Rodriguez Jr., Jonathan Rodriguez; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
