Jael Abdiel 'Jay' Maldonado

Jael Abdiel Maldonado, age 26 of Waterbury, CT., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 22, 2019. Jael was born January 16, 1993 in Bridgeport, CT; the beloved son of Herminio Maldonado & Wanda Miranda. Jay, as he was affectionately known, was kind and hardworking man. He was friendly and well known in his community. Everyone who knew him loved him. Jay had a smile that brought joy to those around him. He loved fishing and spending time with his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephew. Jay will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Luz Celenia Otero. In addition to his parents, Jael is survived by his: paternal grandparents, Herminio Maldonado & Damaris Rivera; maternal grandfather, Hector Miranda; seven siblings, Christian Maldonado, Rochelly Maldonado, Nefty Pagan, Alanys Garcia, Thalya Hernandez, Angelica Marcano, Angel Marcano; two nieces, Arieanna Ayala, Andrea Maldonado; two nephews, Daniel Maldonado , Nefty Pagan Jr; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
