Jacquelyn Washington, age 65, of Stratford, CT passed away on November 27, 2021 in Bridgeport, CT. On June 25, 1956 Jacquelyn was welcomed into the world by her beloved parents Sarah Lee Washington and George L. Washington in Manhattan, New York. Jacquelyn completed her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development. She worked as a Head Start Teacher for over 10 years. Jacquelyn was very smart she enjoyed helping everyone with their work even her grandchildren and she could do math with her eyes closed. Jacquelyn loved to dance; she would tear the dance floor up. On her spare time Jacquelyn enjoyed crocheting and solving crossword puzzles. She was funny in her own way but always so sarcastic. Jacquelyn is predeceased by: mother Sarah Lee Washington; father George L. Washington; son Mitchell A. Lambert. She is survived by her: children Letricia Johnson, Scott Lambert, Tyeisha Lambert and Daniel Washington; siblings Edward L. Harris, Gwendolyn Washington, Sharol Washington, William James, Robert Jr. Washington, Lonnie Washington; grandchildren Antiqua Washington, Lafatique Washington, Tenasia Hearst, Trumaine Hearst Jr., Tangela Hearst, Sierra Hearst, DeShawn Lindsey Jr., Daniel David Washington Jr., Lamar Lambert Pharr, Kania Oraves, nine more grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, a special great granddaughter Anilah Washington and host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. She will be deeply missed.
